Violin Girl is a professional electric violinist and recording artist who has performed at music festivals, clubs, and venues internationally. She started playing the violin when she was two years old and was originally trained in the Suzuki method, but found that her talents lay in improvising and playing absolutely anything by ear. She soon fell in love with the electric violin and playing with electronic music, and “Violin Girl” was officially born when she started performing as a busker on the Las Vegas Strip at age 16. Now, she specializes in high energy, showstopping performances playing with live DJ mixed tracks primarily in the genres of house, bigroom, bass, pop, and top 40. Violin Girl is also known as one third of club and festival trio “Treble Squad”, where she performs alongside a saxophonist and a DJ/producer.

Some of Violin Girl’s notable performances include festivals like Bonnaroo, Burning Man, Lightning in a Bottle, Oregon Eclipse and Amsterdam Dance Event; international appearances in Greece, Costa Rica, Peru, Mexico, and Canada; and high-profile venues like Hakkasan, Tao, MGM Grand Garden Arena, Mixmag Lab Los Angeles and Prysm Nightclub. She currently holds residencies at Canopy by Hilton Cancun, Top By Belo Isla Mujeres, Drai’s Beach Club, and a number of Chicago’s premier nightlife venues through her agency Treblemonsters. Violin Girl is also an accomplished recording artist and contributing producer, with multiple top 10 charting tracks on Beatport, plays on radio shows like Aly & Fila’s Future Sounds of Egypt, and track features by publications like DJ Mag USA.
